“Long and Winding … Puzzles”

Puzzles are such fun! It’s such a thrill to assemble the pieces to reveal the completed project. Some people are gifted at seeing how the pieces fit together. My youngest grandchildren love working puzzles and most of the time, they have thatPuzzlephoto uncanny sense of seeing how the pieces merge together. Other times, I’ve seen them try to force the pieces together by pounding their fists in a vain effort to make the parts fit together.
Life can be baffling or confusing at times. I have found myself trying to force loose ends together. Life can result in broken pieces as I pound away at a problem. I didn’t recognize how all those loose and often confusing parts could possibly form a completed image.

The best part of life’s perplexing puzzle is we don’t have to see how it ends. God has the master plan. Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Our mission should be to step back and work on what we can, while knowing that The Master will complete the big picture. Just relax and take one piece at a time.
